Qingdao Form Guide
Following a strong season in the second tier, Qingdao are back in the big time - and they’re eager to make it worth their while. They’ve been through a lot of changes both on and off the pitch in recent times but through it all, they’ve maintained a strong, core fanbase that is excited to see them succeed. They are more tweaks to come, but their supporters have cause for optimism.
Qingdao currently find themselves in 10th place in the league after 12 games. They’ve been able to pick up three wins and three draws to run alongside six losses, with their big aim being to break away from the relegation zone and ensure they don’t have to worry about the drop.
Changchun Form Guide
Changchun were comfortably in the bottom half of the table last season and while mid-table isn’t the worst place in the world to be, it feels like deep down, there’s a split behind the scenes regarding what they want from the future. On the one hand, simply avoiding relegation could be seen as a positive. On the other, we’d argue they have the potential for a whole lot more.
Changchun are down in 11th place in the league after 12 games. In that time, they’ve picked up three wins alongside two draws and seven defeats - and while it may not seem like the best news, they can take pride from the fact that many of their losses were quite narrow.
Match Prediction
These two sides have taken their time to really find themselves in this particular campaign and hopefully, they can use this as an opportunity to figure out where they’re at skill wise. Alas, we don’t expect them to overwhelm one another, which is why we’re opting to predict a draw.
